"We read to know we are not alone." C.S. Lewis
one of the better progs made here in canuckistan... sadly :(
It is going to be sorely missed!
What did you think about the last episode?? Particularly the last 20 minutes? I loved the stuffing out of this show, and am really sorry to see it go. My husband and I made an event of the night, and watched the special and the show consecutively, and then had a huge discussion about it. I am really searching for someone new to infect with Battlestar fever! I figure my friend Bob might like it, and then we could rent all the dvd's and watch it again! Are you going to watch the new series, Caprica?
Although I found the finale satisfying, I was still left going "huh?" as the last frame faded. It is the mark of a great series when you can be satisfied, and still not know all of the answers. Not everything ended up as I would have liked, but I don't doubt that was part of the plan. Life doesn't always end up the way we want it to either, does it?
Zibilee - honestly, I was so thrilled that they gave the characters a happy ending. I never thought they would do that. I know a lot of people had issues with the last episode - my husband included - but I was just so happy that everyone I loved made it to the end! I think I'm going to watch Caprica, but I have a hard time believing it can be as good.Leah - I know what you mean. I still don't exactly feel like their tagline for the season - You Will Know the Truth - was fulfilled. There are a LOT of things I still want to know! But, really, it was the ending I had hoped for but didn't think I'd get to see.
